In The Community

Professional Grounds believes it’s important to play an active role in our community. We donate company time and resources and encourage employee participation to give back to those in need. We support many local charities and charitable events in Northern Virginia such as:

PGI’s Ongoing Cause, Cell Phones For Soldiers

All retired company devices are donated directly to Cell Phones for Soldiers. We’re also collecting unused cell phones from the community for the drive. Donate your old cell phones for a great cause and help reduce landfill waste by recycling your old devices! By collecting donated cellphones to ship in bulk we further assist the Cell Phones For Soldiers program by minimizing the cost of delivering donated cell phones to the program. Cell phone donations can be dropped at our Lorton office during normal business hours Monday through Friday. Learn more about Cell Phones for Soldiers here.

Professional Grounds, Inc. is proud to participate in the program that provides families of currently deployed military personnel as well as wounded and post 9/11 service-connected wounded/disabled veterans with complimentary lawn care and landscape services.

We are one of thousands of lawn care and landscape professionals across the country that donates its services and time to ease the burden on military families or disabled and wounded veterans needing assistance.

We encourage interested military families and veterans to register for participation in the GreenCare for Troops program by calling Project EverGreen at 888.611.2955 or registering online at www.projectevergreen.org.
