As founder and Chief Executive Officer, Bill is still actively involved in the daily operations of the company and its continued success. Bill, also a Navy Veteran, has over 35 years of experience in maintaining commercial and residential landscapes. Bill’s responsible for making sure that every employee works every day to achieve our mission, which is to build valued relationships with our customers through extraordinary service and personal attention.
Livy Diaz

Livy moved back to the Northern Virginia area in 2009 and began working for Professional Grounds, Inc. Livy’s background in accounting and property management easily allowed her to understand the essential responsibility of our client needs. In addition to her accounting and IT systems responsibilities, Livy is also responsible for updating our main branch offices, which has allowed us to create an inviting atmosphere to our employees and both vendors and clients that often come by our offices. Livy is often noted by our clients for her extraordinary service and personal attention that she has provided them with. With an ever-changing season workload, being able to understand the core responsibilities of time management, customer relationships and a focus of the well being of our team has made her an asset at Professional Grounds, Inc.

Melissa, another second generation family member, has worked for Professional Grounds, Inc. since 2008. She is responsible for all marketing related tasks, from creating our website to implementing a Customer Relationship Management system; insuring our clients are always properly informed and educated. Melissa has also placed a large focus on the company’s involvement in our local community through hosting community educational seminars, writing informative articles for local newspapers and organizing charity events such as our “Toys for Tots” drive and “Food & Friends: Slice of Life” program. Additionally, she is responsible for the company’s Training & Safety Programs and assisting with the strategic planning and organizational structure of Professional Grounds, Inc.
Glenda Trimmer
Education: Commonwealth Business College
Glenda Trimmer, wife of the CEO and President for over 45 years, has always been involved at Professional Grounds, Inc. Her business school background and work in high level business offices has given her experience in working in a business environment. Currently Glenda works part time performing administrative services in the day-to-day operations of a family business. She enjoys talking with customers and assisting the staff in any way possible. Her other duties involve payroll, management of the companies’ 401(k) plan and assisting the President in special projects.
